Have one of those BHQ CF satin Kwaikens and it's an addictive toy.
The other day I found the widest part of the blade rolled at the edge. It had a razor sharp factory edge but now reflected bright metal. Worked it back out and back in the right pocket only to find that same part of the blade glinting sunlight at me again the next day.

Beautiful knife but the edge lies within about 1/32 inch of the handle edges when the knife is pocketed. Keys, other knives etc work their way in the gap and there goes your edge.

Great, cool knife but mine will only be carried in left pocket from now on so the edge faces the rear rather than all the stuff jangling around my right pocket.

Got mine today, and I agree about the appearance...very nice. As far as the edge thing, I carry inside the same pocket as my phone, so while the knife sits in the far right corner the phone lies below and the two don't really touch. But I can see how keys could flop into there...maybe this design could use a full backspacer in the future.

How did yours come? I ask because mine was sort of gritty when it flipped...as in, I could hear "crunching" when I held it up to my ear and pivoted the blade. I disassembled and cleaned the blade and bearings (tiny little bastards), then relubed, but I'm still getting some friction on the flip...more than I would expect from an IKBS anyway. Also, the detent is veeeeeery light...if I swing it hard and just right, it'll flip out, though I know that's highly unlikely in any situation. Anyway, just asking!
