My buddy has a brand new kwaiken flipper in titanium. When closed, the tip is still proud of the handle. I heard this was a problem with early models but was fixed on these. Is there a fix for this? He can't even carry the knife.

If it's actually not flush, then send back. If the blade is flush with the liners but it's still nips you anyways, I've had luck with just knocking the tip back a bit on concrete or a sharpening stone.

Thanks, it's sticking up a full 1/6". He doesn't remember where he bought it, online. We'll just have to get a hold of Boker I guess.
