I picked up this boker for really cheap and would like to find out some info. I would like to have it eventually repaired if possible or if it's even worth it. Both scales have fallen off and it has a few scratches and handling marks on the blade but, appears to be in decent shape other wise. The blade locks up nice and tight. It must be an older discontinued model as I cannot find it in their catalogue. The blade states "Boker Tree Brand Classic" bellow that is a model number 2000 and 440 c. On the tang it states "Boker Soligen Germany stainless" and has a little tree stamped next to the writing. Could anyone tell me about this model line? Is it work repairing? Is the repair covered under warranty (probably not but, never hurts to ask) here are the pics.

I have the 4000 model with stag handles tree brand and a 3000 with bone (not tree brand), looks the same as that one. I think they are well made.

Except for the scales, the knife looks like it's in good shape! I would choose some nice wood and make some new scales:thumbup:

send it in, but it can take a while to repair it. If you still have the other handle slab, it would be easier, if not, just send it in.
