Just pulled the trigger on one [got a nice deal], gonna use it for work and just wanted to know if anyone had some experience with this knife.

The BKT is a button lock tanto, part serrated with 420 steel. The biggest attraction for me is quick one hand open/close of the lock, you just press it and can flick open or closed -right?

I have used it around the house and garden and it is a decent knife. It holds a good edge, but it is not as tough as some other much more expensive folders. But if you aren't bashing it around and using it for cutting, not prying or throwing into tree trunks, it should serve you well. Watch the screws and if any seem to be turning, lock-tite them back in.

Under light / medium use at work it's been holding up well. The point is pointy and pierces aluminum very handily, been stripping wires, cutting plastic -not a bad knife at all. F + F are excellent and overall a very functional tool. The button lock: this is my 1st one and i noticed the button needs to be pushed all the way down for the blade to release so points for that, good design and execution. The aluminum handle works for me, the knife handles very well and is quick in hand. I am impressed for the low dough it has really worked out, it's not going to replace my Ontario XMs but it's been a great supplementary / 2nd carry blade. Only problem i have is that i keep hearing it's some 440 [A or C, where the Chinese 440C is a 'loose' definition] yet the website i bought it from [giant online retailer, starts with an A] states 420 steel. Maybe that's a misprint?
