Any of you guys own one?

Any data on the steel? in terms of edge holding, toughness, hardness etc.
I heard it's China made so i'm not getting my hopes up.

The last magnum Boker I owned I sent back within the hour. It was a damascus lockback. The fit and finish were awful, as if they didn't even try to match the wood to the bolsters. Additionally the opening was gritty, with some sort of black stuff all over the knife. Personally, I believe that the cost of damascus is not worth the performance, though they do look cool.

I believe this is the one you're looking at?

If this is the case, you've got 37 layers for the damascus, which isn't great. As for the hardness, and edge holding, I have no idea.

I could also be wildly wrong and this knife could be great for you. I know some people who are happy with 420hc, and some who aren't happy unless they have h-1 or some equivalent stainless.
