boker magnum pocket kukri

hey guys i'm thinking about buying a boker magnum pocket kukri because its cheap and it looks cool. can people that own this knife please give me some advice. thanks.

I don't have one but I've been attracted to it for quite a while. However the only photo I've seen of it makes it look like it doesn't have a thumb stud. Of course it's so inexpensive that I might buy one ,when my local store gets it back in stock, even if it only has a nail nick.

ya i think its looks cool and would chop good for a folder. and yes it doesnt have a thumb stud which kinda sucks

It really doesn't need a thumb stud cause you can flick it open with no problems. The only problem is you might want to locktite the pivot screw because it will get loose after awhile and will cause the lock to overtravel. Overall a really fun knife.
