Greetings,

A buddie of mine just got a Boker/Magnum Subcom... Cool looking little knife. Here is a couple pics of it. What do you guys think? Anyone else able to get their hands on one.. Seems like a great folder to me!

I have a couple of them, and I love them, but then again, I might be a little biased!:D

We should be getting them in stock within a few weeks.
I think this is the best project we've had in a while.

Just like I said before, this seems to me the best design for a small linerlock folder I've seen for quite some time. And I've seen a few, believe me ;)

In answer to the availability question.
We got a small advance last week. The rest of them are en route,
and we have an estimated time of 2 weeks til we receive them, right now.
If you want to place an order, the model number is BO589. I will
place an announcement here when they are available.

Aloha and mahalo Razzierb,

Specs...specs...believe it or not, the blade length is only about 1 7/8", but it is WIDE. Length closed is a mere 2 5/8", yet when opened, it fills the hand nicely. DO not be afraid of the aggressive notches on the handle. I was concerned about them at first, but after some daily carry, it was nothing to worry about. they aid immensely in MBC...I beat the daylights out of my pre-pro sample and it held up very well. :thumbup:

It's as thin as a Spyderco Cricket SS IIRC, and is a tip up, tip down frame lock. Steel currently is 420J2, but depending on how well this model does, should be upgraded.

ABSOLUTMENT.

Other knife brands have been discussed there including some custom work done by fellow forumites. The "Off Topic" section is described as "anything other than Spyderco". Also, your knife brothers over there will want to be informed, and some of them do not frequent here. I found you posting about this some time ago while doing a search for "fob":cool: (and had been lurking since),but now I can't even do searches. Chance happening I found it. Now that it's being shipped, I'm sure the others will want to know.
