Any experience with this model on here? It's the tanto and 'used' stonewash looking finish model? Looks like a decent little tanto for cheap?

I can't find reviews on them anywhere so I just ordered on. I figured for $16 I can't really get that screwed over. Just like the look of it mainly. It's going to fit in well with my very well worn ZT 0400.

I'm not familiar with the Vintage III Tanto, but I'd probably give $16.00 just to see what one looks like. Sometimes I'll pick out a few cheap blades and order them together and save on the shipping. Every now and then I get lucky and get something that's a keeper.
It sounds like you enjoy your ZT 0400. Not very often do I see mention of Her. I love mine, She's a sweet slicer, and a real good looker imo.

Thanks for the location so I could eye the Vintage III Tanto. It has nice lines but a bit short (3.35") for me. Looks well worth the price though. Modestglock26 your scavenger is showing wear in all the right places. She's looking better than new, developing character. Now she's looking sassy and classy. I hope mine can do as well.

I felt like the 3.35" would be okay for some simple daily tasks. We shall see. Hopefully I'll be able to get it before I leave on another road trip for a week, if not the review will have to wait.

My 0400 gets used a lot. I love it for food prep, but this last week it helped me get some much needed fires going in the backyard pit. I keep her on me all the time, so she's cut just about everything. I much prefer the used look vs the new and spotless. It's not a collector's item, so I use it.

Well, the Boker arrived.

I was on a two week road trip and was happy to find it waiting for me when I got in from an 11 drive on Saturday.

So far here are my limited thoughts. I'm at work at can't get pics to load right now.

The pocket clip for this is one of my main issues.

A. It can't be setup for tip up carry. I prefer tip up, but that's not the only issue.
B. The pocket clip is flimsy. I can bend it all over the place with little effort.

The blade came decently sharp. Not bad, but the budget Kershaw I just got puts it to shame.

The liner lock is the thinnest liner on any knife I've had. Not sure if that's a concern or not at this point.

Ergonomically I can't get this thing to open quickly. Not a big concern because I've decided this isn't going to be in my edc carry rotation. It'll be left in my glove box as it's got the glass breaker and seatbelt cutter.

It's a decent little folder for $16 but nothing too write home about. Still fun to try it out a bit.

Thanks for the overview modest. It seems as though you got your $16.00 worth. And you got to satisfy your curiosity.

I will put some pics up once I can. I'm on shift for another 48 hours after tonight's 12. Then I'm on call all weekend as well but I'll try to add some visuals to what I'm saying.

It's not a horrible design but it's a cheap knife and I bought it being okay with that.

I've got many other worth much more. It would pain me to lose them. This is just one I had the urge to get.

Now, I will say this...

If you want an amazing budget knife go take a try with the Kershaw Thermite. I love it.

The photos really flatter the Vintage III. That stone wash is worth $16.00 alone. I'm going to keep it in mind if I come up short on a minimum free shipping charge.
Thanks for the pictures modestglock26.

No problemo!

Again, the few complaints I have are really not that bad and I probably would've just spent the $16 on something else like food that I don't need. It actually sits in the pocket on the side of the seat in my xterra. There is a little pocket and the material is thick so the bendy clip on the Boker works well.
