I bought a Boker Magnum at a local shop this summer. It says 'Boker Magnum' in one side of the blade and 'China' on the other. It is about 4 1/4 inches closed with a modified drop point blade that is half serrated and has a thumb stud for easy opening. It is a liner lock with a pocket clip (tip down). The store where I purchased it was having a sale, and as I recall I paid $15.00 for it. I think it was regularly $20.00.
The action is very smooth for my old arthritic hands. It actually holds a good edge.
Does anyone know which knife this is and if there are other models similar to this one?

Thanks,
Dale

Aloha Dale!

My goodness...that's a bit of a "general" description...could be any one of the many Magnum folders out right now!

I am glad you are happy with it...it appears that the Magnum quality is upping it a few notches!

God bless

Thanks Daywalker.
I know it is a vague description, but there are no model numbers on it.
I just found the box....the model number on the box is RY180. :o

I went to the website on the box: www.magnum-online.com but that redirected to a Boker site in German that didn't work to well.

I use this knife as an EDC/beater knife & it seems to take the punishment.
Do you know of any other knives in this series?

Thanks,
Dale

Aloha orvet!

I found your beater, and yes, there are MANY more to choose from! In fact, go to www.bokerusa.com and look on page 5 of "Magnum Knives". Your knife is there.

I would go for one of the KAL74's now that they have a clip! Incredibly done aluminum handle and AUS8 steel...all at a great price point!

OR...you could wait a few months for my design from Boker/Magnum to come out!

God bless and keep me posted!
