I just bought this knife,But I wanted it in 440C can anyone tell me if its 440C or 440A,the Knife is advertised as 440C.It looks more like the 440A model than the 440C models, the 440C models have it on the blades, where the 440A(only one model{claimed}) doesnt.I'v talked with them and they will take it back,or trade, but I would like to here from you if you know.I have found it at other web sites three of them claim its 440A and 1 claims its 440C-----I'm confused.

I will delete the link and maybe post in a couple of days. Thanks, I shoulda just settled for the Buck Custom but I really want a Boker in 440C

Yep thats it,I was afraid of that.I'll just have to send it back and get the 2002 model, thanks.

Got the 2002 about a week ago, went around cutting stuff trying to dull it.It held on to that edge longer than I expected(:) ),I found myself getting a little pissed because it wouldnt dull as fast as I wanted(weired huh).Started sharpening it and it got hair poping sharp Quick except for the tip,I couldnt get it to come around. So I reprofiled it nows its a shaver all the way up and down the blade.I really like this knife:thumbup: .Well I just got my Cabelas Alaskan guide 110 with S30V(couldnt resist),Man its a pretty knife, nice rose wood,I'll be doing the same to it dulling, resharpening, but the Boker is my work horse, the 110 is a little big.

I have owned 2 of these knifes. The first was unfortunately lost and was replaced. I believe this is a great knife for general purpose everyday knife. If will take a great edge and holds the edge for a good amount of time.
