Hello traditional knife dudes was wondering if any of you have experience with the Boker Oak Series Stockman knives with c75 blades? Is it a good buy from $70-80 can't find any info on them. Thanks!

Don't know about the Oak series, but Böker Germany carbon knives are a wonderful buy.

Thanks, Will

Thanks Jeff, it slices very nicely and has great thumping talk,:D must be from 2009 as that was Böker's 140 anniversary.

Have to confess I gave it a tea bath to darken the red colour, quite pleased but did those blades go black:D

It being carbon, this happens naturally as it acquires patina. With a stainless blade you'd have to erase the etch with chemicals or sanding.

Thanks, Will

I've got a few from the Beer Barrel series from a few years back. As long as it's one of their Solingen made knives, it should be excellent.

They do billboard the clip pretty bad will be glad when it looks like yours. I'll be getting one soon but it'll have to wait bc I just got a good deal on a new Queen ruple stag snowbelly in D2. Only $70!
