Recommendation? Boker OTF not locking

I have a Boker OTF that intermittently will absolutely not lock in and will go 15-20 attempts without any luck. I have tried lubing and drying and gun slide grease but nothing has solved it....knife is brand new....any ideas?

try naptha. fill, shake to loosen mess and oils and drain, let dry out. see if that helps. otf don't do well wet typically.

OTF's dont like a lot of lube or thick lube. I have found my microtechs work best with just a touch of hair clipper oil.

I would spray out with brake clean then lightly re-oil.

Wondering as I have a couple otf’s. No issues yet, but I imagine sooner or later…
