Boker/Perrin Knives?

I've noticed that the recent Boker/Perrin knives seem to have mostly dried up at the on-line retailers. I have already picked up the Neck Bowie and Shark knives, but I would still like to pick up the La Griffe (which seems to be out-of-stock everywhere I have checked). :(

Are another batch of these knives (particularly the La Griffe) going to be making their way into the retail channels any time soon, or were they a one-shot deal and I should start scrambling to find one before they disappear completely?

just a question but why not get a custom they really aren't that much more expensive? and if youve ever handled a perrin you know how nice they are, szabo knives can make you one to order. just a harmless thought.

also some sites will most certainly always have them available or at least long after other sites stop carrying them, albeit at inflated prices. EDC knives tends to have a good collection of perrin concept knives such as the shark tooth which i havent seen anywhere else, ive been eyeing it for quite awhile :)

Happy hunting

So.... no one from Boker USA around who can answer this question? :(

Presumably, Mr. Perrin is getting a cut on every sale of a Boker/Perrin blade, so I hate to have someone duplicate his work like that. Seems kind of like buying bootleg DVDs or something.

We just heard back from the factory that makes them for Fred. They are going back into production and should be sending us some as soon as possible. I do not know what time frame that is, since we are just the distributor not the manufacturer.

A side note, Mr. Szabo does not duplicate Fred's work, he sells Fred's custom stuff, and production items as well, for Fred in the US.
