Boker Pipsqueak - pocket clip screw failure

Hey guys,

My Pipsqueak is great, except for the pocket clip.

I took it off to file down the point on the clip because it was hurting my finger. After I was done rounding it off a bit, I went to screw it back in but the threads in the handle seem to be non-existent until the screw is 3/4 of the way down into the hole; which is not enough to secure the clip bearing in mind the width of the clip itself. It ends up falling out when the screw is fully bottomed out on the clip.

I figure my two recourses are to either send it back to Boker, or try and find a slightly longer screw.

Does anyone know the size of the pocket clip screw on the Pipsqueak? I'd really love to try and fix this on my own, but I may end up having to send it in anyway if a longer screw won't fix the issue.

Bring it to a hardware store and you should be able to either match it up with something they have in stock, or use a thread gauge to tell you what to order. I'd bet its a 2-56x1/4" screw
