Does anyone have this knife?

Is has the same design as a strider, right?

I saw it was 29.99 at smwk.com .. Going there this weekend, debating if its worth picking up ..

nope not even close.

boker:
440C
thin, thin, liner lock
junk G10 thats also peper thin
chinese steel liners that bend and flex

strider:
S30V
Ti Frame Lock w/ HBS
high quality machined G10
HD clip

I've seen several of these knives come with the liner touching the opposit side, the jimping is too fine and thus useless.

the only similarity is in a quick glance they look close to the same shape, but even then its not very close.

Never heard too many good things about the Boker, but I never owned one before.

I'd just pony up some more money and get a Kershaw, Buck or Spyderco.

I've been carrying the large Boker Armed Forces Tanto for a couple of weeks now.. It is surprisingly strong and sturdy.. for the money I think its worth it...just MHO..

I had the small Boker Plus Armed Forces tanto a while back. It was bad for the $. I believe I paid $20 for it. The steel's supposed to be 440C & seemed fine. The liner lock was good, but very hard to get to to disengage & the jimping on the G-10 was real rough on the version I had.

I would not consider it a Strider design. If you're looking for an inexpensive folder, it's probably worth it.
