Hi Boker,

I really think the AK101 is so close to being a perfect knife. This knife doesn't mess around, great fighting potential. However, I think it would benefit from less serrations on the serrated blade. The non-serrated has that nice belly that aids in slicing. So removing some serrations to give us that belly would be so nice!

I had one just arrive - plain blade version. Loved it so much I ordered another one from the same shop. They must be old stock because these cannot be imported into Australia anymore because of recent import restrictions on folders. Shops are allowed to sell their old stock though because these can legally be bought in all states. The only thing that concerns me is the thickness of the liner lock. But then again the flipper would stop it from folding on fingers should that fail. Otherwise it is a great knife.

I have the plain edge blade with the black FRN handle.

I wish that they would have done the different colored handles sooner the the limited-editions.
