Boker Plus CFM-A1

They are just showing up to various dealers now.

I got one, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

just like the other Boker Plus knives I have, it has a really stinky G10 handle scale.

(It shares this with the G10 Hitman and G10 Kihon too.)

Stinky, as in smells bad?
 
Yes, it stinks very bad.

I also brought this up in another recent thread where someone was asking about the Boker Plus Hitman.

That is truly bizarre. I have never heard of G10 smelling bad. I wonder if it has something to do with the factor where it is machined. Thanks for the heads up; that is certainly something to take into consideration.
 
I have read about it happening before on this forum.

It is easy to fix:

hold the knife in the open position by the blade in boiling water or a hydra-sonic cleaning tank.
