I just recently preordered their classic bushcraft knife.

Has anyone seen one of these?

How does boker mark the knife for country of manufacture? The last 1 or 2 that I bought had a sticker that was easy to remove. I'm wondering if this one will be the same.

Chinese manufacture. I've not seen one but I will probably pick one up soon. I am not sure about the 440c verses carbon steel thing. It looks to be nice with a sheath and firesteel.

For the price I figure it's not so risky of a purchase. I like 440c and expect it to perform well as long as it's heat treated properly. I really like watching Ray Mears videos. I like his knife and thiis Boker is a fairly accurate copy which I'm happy to try.

From bokers website the knife looks good and I hope it's as good in real life!

I bet it is nice. My eye keep slipping over to the Boker Plus Exodus. I am kind of torn here. LOL

I've been doing the same thing now. Popped over here to do a search on both. Anybody know when the bushcraft will be out?

I'm not sure. Got an Email from Heine Haynes in the UK that the Bushcrafter was in but had only 10 left. They sold out that night.

They look pretty good provided the bevel is reasonably high. I'm looking forward to seeing the reviews... if its half good or moddable I think it will be a sell out amongst the bushcraft community.

Seems the reviews from our brothers at British Blades are trickling in. They're saying some pre-prod ones were zero scandi ground, but the regular in stock ones have a secondary bevel on an already thick stock.

I'm a little less interested now... but mainly because I just picked up 2 Finnish Puukkos at very reasonable prices.
