This Decade version of the small Exskelibur is a real beauty: Carbon fiber scales, VG10 steel. Nice box.

My first order was perfect and I ordered a second.

The blade on the second is off-center.

The Decade comes with a pivot tool but it does not fit the Decade.

The tool was designed for an earlier model, the original Exskelibur series in 440C that was introduced in about 2010.

So there is no way that I know of to adjust the pivot or fix the blade centering.

What a shame.

A buddy had the same experience: His Decade came with an off-centered blade and a pivot tool that doesn't fit.
 
I also got a Boker Plus Decade Edition Exskelibur II (01BO153) serial# 317 of 600. Blade is off center and the pivot tool will not fit. I already scratched the pivot trying to make it fit. Also, one of the clip screws won't budge. They use three different types of screws on the folder: phillips, torx and custom!

The carbon fiber is very nice with a good texture and the VG-10 blade is a slicing demon! Love the blue anodized liners.
 
Wow that sucks. I want to pick up one of the Decade Edition so bad, but apparently Boker is still hit or miss. I hope Boker reads this thread an come up with a solution for you guys.
 
Why isn't Boker responding to this problem? The knife is still being sold with a pivot tool that doesn't fit. Very disappointing.
 
Boker has now gone six months without responding to this issue, raised by its customers.
 
Hey guys, you need to call Boker's customer service directly.

Forums aren't really the place for dealing with these issues.

Call them, do not email them.
 
I called and emailed -- no response.

To the best of my knowledge, the knife is still being sold with a pivot tool that doesn't fit.
 
Well that is a real shame that they don't bother to reply to phone calls or email messages.
