Boker Plus Dozier Arkansas Traveller knife

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a Boker Plus Dozier Arkansas Travellers knife off of ebay. I plan on using this as an EDC fixed blade just for small tasks.

Does anyone have any experience with this knife? I know the newer model was upgraded to have an olive wood handle as opposed to the walnut they originally came with.

I've always been into high carbon steel blades and other then my dive knives.. how is the AUS stainless for holding an edge? And has anyone ever had an epic fail with this knife?

I have one, but I have not used it hard. The blade will certainly take a razor-sharp edge. Just don't know how it would hold up to tough cutting, if that's what you plan on using it for. But it's a nice fixed-blade EDC for my light uses.

thanks man! that's all I wanted to know. I don't plan on using it for anything heavy just EDC and small camp tasks
