Anyone have one?

Like the looks. Is it a good slicer and how is it for kitchen duty?

I just got one, and the blade profile makes it an excellent slicer for such a stout blade. The biggest limitation is the blade length, larger onions are already off limits.

Thanks for that report.

I think you might be right about the length -- since posting my question I have tried a fixed Kershaw Skyline. The blade is just over 3-inches and I find it a bit short for some kitchen chores and ok for others.

I really like the looks of the PSK and I'd be interested in how you're using it.

First of all, it is quite heavy for its size. The handle feels great in the hand, at least in mine and as a consequence I can put a lot of pressure on the blade. I use it for basic carving, feather sticks and all the other EDC chores that come to mind. The steel allows superior sharpness combined with toughness, which is a great combo in my opinion. I'm still need to find out what the best carry option is, but I've only had it for 2 weeks and I love the versatility of the PSK.

I recently gotten one in, but am in the process of selling it since I got the Boker Vox BoB

for me, the handle has that last little bend at the end, for my medium/smallish hands sometimes it fits great, others I find it can be awkward to grip.

The blade is as noted above quite thick and stout, I took it to my EdgePro and set some better angles, for me at least, and it took a very keen edge.

Being a shorter blade you can apply a lot of force to it, so in that respect it really excells.
