I got this knife in recently to sheath up, one of the bennie's of sheath making, it can also be a dangerous thing too, cuz then you see, you want ;)

But I was able to restrain myself, barely!

Nice knife, wood scales with frame and liner lock of stainless steel, as well as a Ti pocket clip that can be mounted for either tip up or tip down carry.

scales of nice Ebony

weighs in a about a mere 2oz

Handle length about 3 3/4" long

Blade about 2 3/4" long

Ground down quite thin, should be an excellent cutter for sure and arrived spanking sharp, surprisingly so.

This one doesn't have any nail nick, but has a jimping along the end of the tang that allows you to thumb it open, much as you would lighting a bic lighter, takes very little time to master this opening method. Locks up secure.

Overall a very nice pocket knife, very very light, you could easily wear it in a suit jacket inside pocket without ever knowing it was there.

I believe it is pretty special one

Boker definitely has a few gems strategically located thru-out there catalog. Pretty knife. Perfect example of a gentleman's carry IMO.

Indeed, while this one had the clip removed for sheath carry, it could easily ride in a shirt pocket without ever noticing the weight and it arrived very sharp with the edge ground down nice and thin, this is one slicing folder! I'm tempted to pick one up for myself!....if I wasn't on a knife purge ;) must stay strong...

Quick question: I read that the pocket-clip screw-holes of previous Exskeliburs were only tapped into the scales, not the metal liners, can you comment on that with this new version?

I seem to remember that the screws were further than the scales, so my first thought is the liners were tapped, as I don't have the knife any longer, it's since traveled back to it's owner in it's new sheath.

BUT, come this Friday I should have another one in hand and will verify what part is tapped and report back here, thanks to a friend out west that is sending one as a nice gift, thanks Raj !

Well the one that arrived wasn't like that one, it was similar, and the clip on this one, the screws go into the metal liner.
