Just received, and what will be the third one, a Valkyrie. The other two went to a couple of friends who really liked what they saw, with one of them seeing some real camp action. Going to try and get some pics of it to post here. From what my buddy said, this knife is a workhorse and one that did all his camp work from cooking to chopping. He was gone for a week and had to sharpen the edge a couple times during that week, but again he was using it hard and frequently.
Anyway, I do like the design on this knife and the handle is a real fit in my hand. The blade design is absolutely beautiful in my opinion. Advertisement says it is a modern interpetation of the Vietnam era SOG knives and I guess I can see some design elements in the blade. At any rate, I really like the design and think that it is a great value for around ~$100.:)

The black leather sheath is also nice, especially for such an inexpensive knife. I don't really like the top snap, so as I did with the others, I removed it, cut the top of the sheath, right below the top strap slits, off. Using my dremel with a small bit, I drilled holes across the top, and then sewed it back together with some black linen thread that I ran through a cake of beeswax. Looks good and fits my needs better by allowing the knife to ride a little higher on my belt which is how I like it.

Great knife from Boker-Plus and worth every penny, if not more!! Course this is my opinion, and yours may differ.

How is your Valkyrie stamped? Did it include the country of origin? Its been almost 6-months, how is it holding up?
