I normally pride myself on depending on my own sense of aesthetics when buying a knife regardless of what others think.
However a knife store near me now carries Boker, including the MA-4, a knife which leaves me with very mixed feelings.
On the one hand it's very unusual looks makes me think of a fantasy Gil Hibben design, which makes me want to pass it by. On the other hand it comes with a zytel sheath which would accept a Spyderco G-clip which would allow me to carry it very discretely in my front pant pocket.
I've also seen a number of pictures of the knife ,on various sites, which makes me covet it, despite, or because of, it's unique appearance.
In any case, for the first time ever, I'm wondering what the general consensus is about this knife.
Thanks for any comments.

I think this knife is designed for mall ninjas. Not only does it look ridiculous but it also looks uncomfortable in the hand, un-ergonomic, and way too wide. What exactly are your intended uses for it?

Beware of the Mall Ninja!

Sorry, but someone who EDC's that thing is going to make me wonder what they have to prove.

If you like the blade shape, see if you can find a Triumph FB from CRKT.

If you like the handle shape, the Folts Minimalist. There are about three other small FB's with similar handles on the market. Look around, avoid the "tacticool".
