NOT an Assisted Opener!!!

Aloha ALL,
I just got word from Germany that it's a manual. I was relieved in a way...because I heard certain places were making illegal the AO, and I have had a certain brand of AO fail on me before.

That being said, I assume we are looking at a zytel scale, aluminum handled framelock ala CR, and a flipper ala Carson.

I will be getting the release date soon.

I've been keeping an eye on the subcom variants for a few weeks now. The original and its offshoots look like nice knives, but the design of this folder in particular is really appealing to me. Assuming the price isn't too high for my budget I'm planning to order one when they're released.

Thanks for your kind words. I am hoping the price is not too high either...I think the Boker Plus line is supposed to be their "mid-priced" line anyway IIRC.;)

Official recommanded price for Transe is 39€ (euros) while official price for original subcom is 33€ while being sold for about $25-$30 on the internet. So I guess market price for Transe should be about $30-$35.

It is supposed to leave Germany on 05DEC06, and we should have it about 2 weeks later.

Thanks my Knifebrother...however, I apologize in that it is not drilled for left hand carry. Even though I know you are used to that...there's no excuse for it being so.:(

Aloha Bro, thanks for the infos. I like the knife anyway. :) In fact, making it a manual is a plus to me.

I know how it is, l already changed three springs to my Chive and that's a bummer because otherwise the knife is great. Not as comfortable as a Biscuit, it's true, but cute anyway.
 
Only pics I've seen are on the European Boker site. Has anyone seen any other pics?
