Just got this little guy and found the blade is magnetized. Whats up with that. I checked all my others and it the only one. Is this bad.....

The magnetism is not a bad thing. This is the answer I have heard before.

" Exposure to magnetic fields can cause the domains in steel to align. Each alloy has a different level at which the temporary alignment with an external field starts locking domains. "

On a side note, how do you like the blade otherwise?

Thanks for the quick response. I really like it. I bought it for industrial use but not so sure any more. Lol I just can't see abusing it. It's a little heavy but I see EDC in its future.

I also have a police 3 and they just seem to compliment each other what one won't do the other can.

I work in a machine shop (many machines/motors around), about half my tools end up slightly magnetic.
