So first off I'd like to say hello, I usually don't come around this part of town.....lol I have a few questions for you guys , while most of my knives that I use are not Bokers one of my favorites is . I have attended a few wilderness self reliance classes and my son and I are into bushcrafting a lot . Somewhere along the way my Vox Rold in D2 was damaged and I just noticed it the other day while using it as a draw knife. I noticed the edge was bent about one and a half inches from the finger coil, kinda like if you struck the very edge with a dull chisel from the side. Dented I guess would be a better description. So my questions to you guys are have any of y'all experienced anything like thiswith Bokers D2, Or do you have any suggestions on fixing it?
Thanks,
T.O.R.

How about a pic? I used my Rold for batoning and chopping a lot, but the blade never experienced any damage.

Hm, I would expect D2 to chip out rather than bend. Maybe a HT issue, i.e. too soft ?
Best thing would be to talk to their warranty department. Leave TJT (Mod on this board) a visitor message, he'll take care of you

i wish I could post a pic but I let my membership run out... and i agree this knife is a work horse, I too thought it would chip out but such is not the case. I'm going to take it to work in the morning and do a U.T. and an M.P.I. on it to check for stress cracks or tears in the steel. See what happens, I'd hate to have it replaced because it's sn# 0051 and i don't know what their up to now days.
