Hello,

I just received my 2nd Boker the S2. I'm very happy with the knife and thought I'd do a search here for S2 info. Well I did and I can't find anything about it.

Here are a few of my feelings about it; I like the fat blade which reminds me of some 250.00 microtech styles. The 440C steel is one of my favorites and it's shaving sharp. The design looks uncomfortable but to my suprise it is near perfect. It really fits my hand like a glove. The fit and finish is exacting. The deployment of the blade is smooth, quick and snaps right into a tight lock up. And the knife even came with a takedown tool and a custom fit display box.

My first Boker was the vox Rold. I don't have the breath to say all I love about it but I will say it's my go to medium fixed blade.

Any thoughts about these knives or links to S2 threads that I may have missed would be appreciated.

I have the S2. Mine has the same attributes you described for your S2. Really a pretty heavy duty knife. A slicer and chopper in one knife. At <$50 it's a real deal IMO.

Really enjoyed my s2 aswell, I been thinking about putting a choil on it tho like the customs, not sure yet, its a comfortable carry and will cut anything, mine came very sharp havent had to touch it up any so far 440c's doing just as well as the s30v blades I have.

Yep... I'd say I flipped it open approx. 75 times last night. As commented above it feels like I could chop down a small tree. I think a choil on the blade would help with finer task. 76,77,78,79....

Thanks for the comments
