ive been in the market for a $150 or less production dagger with decent steel, good design, a guard, and 6-9 in length. preferably not chisel ground, no serrations and no coatings. although this is a little heavier than id prefer its the closest to what i want that ive found so far. if youve held the knife before id love to hear about it...or if you know of anything else i should look at (especially customs...may pay up to 250 for custom) then chime in please

440C is good steel, especially for an integral dagger. That's probably the MSRP, too, and the street price may be lower. it's already a steel at $150 if the F&F is any good.

Is it German made or a Asian contract? That knife is a steal at $150, I'm surprised they can offer it at that small a price.

Hmmmm... Never saw that before.

I like the integral design and micarta scales, decent steel for a dagger, nice size. Assuming the fit and finish are as nice as they look in the photos, it appear to be a pretty nice knife for $150 and a good deal at the apparent $100 street price.

The closest thing I can think of to compare it to is the SOG Daggert II, which is about the same size and price, but IMO I like the design and handle on the Boker better.

that's a nice looking dagger. Actually, Juergen sometimes posts here so maybe he could give us more info about it

All knives of the Boker plus brand are produced in asia ( i think in china, but i´m not sure about this). JUst the "Boker Solingen"-stamp are produced in germany.

I've read good owner reviews about those daggers (for what that's worth). I have heard that they are rather heavy (thick blade-stock, full-tang, lots of steel) but as a result they are also described as "heavy duty".

I'd like to own one. Just can't afford to buy a knife I don't need right now. Otherwise I'd own one.

And +1 to the fact that 440c is a good steel. One of my EDC's (Entrek Cobra) is made of 440c and it does just great all day at work.
