Bokers are sold everywhere in Germany and their very fine Speed Lock (auto) is amazing value at around 95 Euros. I had an authentic European Speed Lock and just lost it on a fishing trip. I nearly cried.

Is there any way I can get one of the genuine Euro models in Texas? Itg was the regular flat silver with 2 black rubber inserts on each side. Non-serrated blade.

With all the talk of the US distributor not handling them I am guessing no. And while there are many "converted" models readily available they often do not have the good Solingen blade and have the telltale 1mm grinding on the back of the blade.

I simply want a replacement for the piece I lost

Any ideas?

Aloha and welcome Lexxxus,

Ooh...this one might be a bit difficult. I got one of the "converted button lock Magnum" folders turned auto. However like you stated, this one has 420J2, NOT the "Tree Brand 440C" IIRC.

Hope all works out for you though, and sorry for being of absolutely NO help whatsoever...:(

God bless!

LEXXXUS,
sorry for loosing your Speedlock! This su..s really!

Unfortunately, we have to tell you, that we are not allowed to export our authentic Solingen made Speedlocks to the US.

The only chance that you have it getting a "US converted" one or get one...

But, the www is huge ;)

good luck!

BTW, welcome to the Boker forums...

In the US they are sold as Toplock instead of Speedlock .
They are the same model except for the spring.
Toplocks are however very easy to alter in a speedlock by adding a coilspring.

I'm not trying to persuade you to do something illegal ;;).
