So I just bought a Boker stag handled Barlow. Long pull spearpoint main blade along with a pen blade both in soligien carbon steel. Any one have any experience with these? The knife looked great online and I am always on the lookout for nice, quality barlows.

Boker has a long history of making quality knives. Yours should be especially appealing in stag. Post pics when available.

I will definitely post pics when I receive it. The fact that it was offered in stag is what prompted me to pull the trigger on this one. I have never even handled a Boker but I have always heard positive things about their German made products.

I don't know about their stag, but a recent bone Congress from Böker has impressed me no end. For that matter, all their knives made in the last couple of years have pleased me- Whittler, Pen, Stockman. Very good value indeed. I was also highly impressed by a Hen & Rooster small Whittler I got (it MAY have been made by Böker) a small knife in stainless but with excellent attention to detail, sunk joints and some knobbly but not over thick stag scales.

Let us know how the Congress works.

Z, that Boker is it new or an older one? I've never had one
But I've heard the older ones were pretty nice!
Dennis, is that true? I know you know!
Thanks for sharing!!
