Is soap and water safe to use on the stag handles?

Shawn, considering the number of centuries antler of one kind or another has been used on tableware, carving sets, "hobo" folders, and fixed blade knives used for every stage of "food processing", I'd say it should not cause any problems. At least not unless you leave them soaking in the sink, or run them through a dishwasher.
