Hi there !
So while cleaning my 10 year old Subcom Titan, I kinda lost the blade washers.
They were plastic washers, and I am not sure where to get new ones.

Tried contacting Boker but no reply there :(

Anyone got a DIY idea how to bring this knife back to service?

On a similar note, I have a Buck Vantage Pro pocket knife that does have the washers albeit very hard to open and close. Screw is already on the loose side so I don't want to loosen it further.... Can I upgrade the washers on it ?

Thanks a lot for any tip

Knifekits.com and USAKnifemaker.com both sell a variety of knife washers in different sizes and materials.

First you need to figure out what size you need (outer diameter, inner diameter (the hole size), and the thickness of the washer).

Hopefully someone with the same knife can measure their washer for you and post the measurements.

Or, you can measure the pivot diameter yourself to determine the inner diameter. And you should be able to get a good idea of which outer diameter washer would fit best based on the amount of room and how much clearance there is around the pivot on the side where you want to put the washer. Then you can purchase washers of that inner and outer diameter in various thicknesses and use trial and error to find the best thickness.

And you don't have to stay with plastic. You can always use other washer materials.
