So this may not be the right place to put it as I'm in the EU and will be ordering from Boker rather than Boker USA.
But advice is needed and this seems as good a place as any.

I'm a HEMA (Historic European Martial Arts) enthusiast and I'm currently looking for a cheap metal blade to practice with. Most people I know end up going to some guy who runs a workshop somewhere and spending a fortune on what is essentially a practice weapon. I'm not so inclined.
So I noticed Boker make swords and I am wondering how are they at taking abuse? Can I rely on them to not break or crack after repeated impacts against other swords? Or are they purely decorative pieces?

Sorry this isn't a helpful post.
This forum seems to me a bit slow-moving, probably because the actual Boker guys have other jobs and get to us when they can.

Maybe you should try the "sword discussion" subforum here. Or HEMA sites?

Cold Steel battle ready swords are real and not wall hangers. The hand made in Nepal HI swords are also the real deal.
