Hello, i currently own 3 boker. All 3 are classic series which i found boker's 440C definatly not as sharp as my Kershaw mojo, Benchmade skirmish. Feel free to write if you feel differ. I think its mainly because all 3 classics are meant to be collective purpose.

I was looking at boker speedlock. a bit afraid it will not be sharp.
benchmade opportunity looks like a nice choice too. but its no auto

what would you say? is speedlock any good?

Well, they aren't bad. I can't speak to that particular model, but I will say that the Infinity I bought 2 months ago was not as well made as the one I bought 5 years ago. although the blade material was made in japan. You might be able to get an equal quality product cheaper elsewhere.

What about the speedlock appeals to you?

well, i was looking for a bit bigger knife to own that is fairly quick open accompany with nice sharp blade. Boker speedlock came in the picture just simply because i own so much boker classic, it was natural. Have to say, it has a bit traditional look in a modern design. But after i search more, just about lots of knives became a good consideration when you look into it. Benchmade 960 its nice, its 4200 is a killer as well. I just read the reaview about RRF, which i had post asking question about it.

RRF now seems like the most possible. just of my curiosity about step in custom knives.

I have a Top Lock, which I believe is just a non-auto speedlock.

It is a decent knife, nothing special, but worth the price.

If you like Boker knives, and want to stay tactical, you can't go wrong with the Walter Brend tactical folders. They are very nice for the money.

I agree, and I think a G10 version is on clearance sale right now on the Boker site!

God bless
