Hey guys, I just ordered the really cool VG-10 and carbon fiber version of boker plus's Titan Drop point. I was just curious if anybody here had handled/owned one and if there's anything I should expect? I had the plain titanium and 440C version two years ago and really enjoyed it.

Thanks in advance! Will post review when I get it!

Boker has never really disappointed me. I too like the 440c titanium version, so I imagine the CF-vg10 will be great...

Check this one out... I hope this works

Alright well I got it today, she's a nice little knife. I'll post a review after I disassemble it for cleaning/lube/sharpening.

Overall first impressions, incredibly lightweight! The thin carbon fiber handles have a bit of flex but it's perfect for me to use at the office. Not quite as solid of lockup as the titanium version but much prettier overall. Fairly smooth action, snappy lockbar, and a VERY nice detent! For 63 bucks, I think I scored a fantastic EDC.

Only thing I would have changed is having the satin finish horizontal instead of vertical, and having some thin titanium liners would have been wonderful. Might have to get the excaliber or vanquish before they're all gone.

Love mine, super lightweight, and really easy to open especially for a lockback. Came screaming sharp as well.

They call this knife the "titan" for a reason. With a blade length of 3.625" and a closed length of 5.375", it may be more knife than some folks (including myself) want to pocket. Having said that, for those who are willing to carry a large folder but don't want the weight associated with a lot of big folders, the Boker Titan Drop Point Decade Edition looks like a real bargain to me!

Just grabbed one of these that showed up in a KnifeCenter get 'em while they're hot blow out sale. I always assumed the terms "Made in China" and "Limited Edition" were mutually exclusive. Interesting. I've realized recently I like to EDC knives with blades over 3" but under 4". This seems like a nice option for when I want to carry something more low key. A dressier EDC?

After my mailman tried to deny me this limited edition lovely (scanned incorrectly and sent on the wrong route) I finally got my hands on this Titan Decade Drop. It's super light weight. It's not a hard use mofo, but seems like it can easily handle normal EDC tasks. After a stropping, the already sharp blade got scary sharp. Side to side when it's closed has more play than I'm used to seeing; I gently nudged the blade over to center it dead on and it was pretty easy to do this. Kinda mushy. The lock up seems tight when it's open, though. Lock back release is pleasantly easy to deploy. Overall it's an OK knife; a bit of an impulse buy but it will have its place in my rotation. I got a little dressed up and went out to dinner with my girlfriend this past weekend (before receiving the knife) and realized it would have been the perfect knife to throw in my pocket for the evening. But, my true go-to EDC will always be my Spyderco Manix 2.
