I looked it over too many times - asked about it here too many times. I am not fond of the 440C blade choice - the Bohler N690 seems more appropriate. The price of $329 seemed high, even if it was a tad off. Today - I had to visit again - during a big storewide sale. It came home with me, the evil-bay Titan Defender Lightweight I thought I'd order - same price - will have to wait.
First mission - will it shave arm hair? Nope. Will it strip printer paper? No way. Well, off with the clip, only to note a little discoloration where the clip covered the G10. It'll even up. Then - to the Spydie Sharpmaker - and it's grey files at 40 degrees - then the white. 25 each - then - it pops arm hairs - strips paper! It feels great in the hand - especially without that clip, although it wasn't as objectionable in size/feel as most. Still, they are a distraction - to me. No glass breaker... my Jeep's windshield is safe from such a test for a while longer.
The Haddock grew into a great EDC. This 'Worker' may have a head start - so far, I like the feel in the hand, etc, and not having a modicum of a deployment aid - not even a nail nick - hasn't been a problem. Smooth operation - maybe 30-35% liner engagement - smooth disengagement. Zilch for blade play when locked. I am broke now - thankfully, all of my bills are paid - Christmas is paid for - and I finally got another sharp edged object of my lust.
Stainz
PS My wife - tired of the frequent trips across town to 'look' at it - actually bought it for me - as an early gift. It was a deal, for sure.
