Not much of a fan of the Boker hawk but it looks like you've put the Kangee to some heavy use. How's that Kangee held up so far?

Just how well the edge has held up......any demanding type use you have put it through......nicks or rolls.

This is when they went through walls and ground (digging chopping out saplings). Walls included drywall, corner bead, and plaster/lath

I have a kangee that has held up through alot. It is still very sharp (factory edge). I have thrown mine a little bit too. I'm still not sure how, but i managed to flatten the very tip of the spike, but it is sk5 high carbon, so it was very easy to regrind.

From the looks of these picks if the two were subjected to the same amount of damage on the same materials for the same a mount of time I would say the kangee edge is holding up slightly better than the spax and it has less weight.

I believe it's for shutting off gas/ water lines.
I saw that. Us old guys really want to read between the lines and I personally wanna believe this hole is thoughtful evolution of the GM 1968 version lap belt that was absolutely perfect for opening beer and pop bottles.

no we hit a lot of more corner and subjected the spax to a lot more abuse because it was substantially less expensive. It bears a razor edge right now as does the kangee.

Weight of both the tools- kangee and spax is the same

Interesting information on the hole!
