As you can tell by my handle here, I collect texas toothpicks (five inch, mostly) Finally found a Boker, and it is a good one. It's cracked ice handle, although only in the centermost section of the handle slab is it reall 'cracked ice', the rest of it, around the cracked ice section, is more of a smooth, creamy white finish. I don't know if the celluloid has changed over the years or if this is the way it was made.

Tang Mark: BOKER. Reverse: tree logo Blade etch: 'Tree Brand'

Questions: What year made? Is this the way the handles originally looked?
Any other Boker toothpicks out there I can look for? Was this one made in the USA? (no country of origin marked on it)

Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

I will take a look through some of the old Boker catalogs and see
if I can come up with some answers for you.
I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks,TJT

I appreciate your efforts!

I'm 'pattern' collector, as mentioned above, toothpicks, ticklers, fishing knives being of interest to me. This does allow me to pick up many different brands, and leads me to study each of them in detail. Searching for Boker info on the web, I found this Spanish site. Yeah, a few of the words are not properly translated, but I found it interesting anyway. Sure did explain that tree thing for me.
