Hiya folks! Is the pocketclip on Boker's Trance as tight as the pocketclip on the original Subcoms or is there some give?

Many thanks!

Mine is tight, but not quite as tight as on my Wharcom. It grips firmly but hasn't given me any trouble with Dockers, cargo shorts or jeans.

I REALLY like my Trance!

For around $30, it's a great value! Really nice ergonomics for small/medium hands. Frame-lock, lightweight, comfortable, affordable, nice working steel... I might get a canvas micarta slab made to replace the Zytel side.

My pocket clip was a little tight, but I don't have any of Chad's other designs to compare it to.

I just got my Trance today, and no not at all. I have an original Subcom with the clip designed as a money clip. It was so tight I couldn't use it as a pocket clip and took it off. My Desert Subcom, Wharcom, and Trance all clip to my pocket just fine.

The clip on my Trance seems about as tight as the Subcom's. It is a bit longer though, and I haven't had a problem clipping it to my pocket. The Subcom takes working on sometimes. I like them both -- a loose clip is useless.

Hello,

I own the all line of SUBCOMs and one Trance. The tighest clip is on the Standard SUBCOM Folder, the Black SUBCOM F and the Desert tan SF.

On my RESCOM and on the WHARCOM the clip is a little bit less tight.
And it's quite the same on the TRANCE.

All that I can say is that a tight clip is good if you use the SUBCOM F as a money clip !!! ;)

take care,

Bob
