I received this knife as a gift from my son-in-law on his wedding day in about 2016. Soon after, I purchased a leather sheath for it, and carried it for awhile. It almost seemed too good to be carrying around, so I put it away about 6 years ago, and am now wondering if someone on this forum can give me an approximate value on it. As shown on the attached photo, it was a Made in Solingen, a Boker Special Run Trapper, and 50 were produced. Hand picked stag scales, forged Damascus stainless blades by Chad Nichols in his raindrop pattern and engraved nickel silver bolsters and rivets. Of course I still have the presentation box and all the paperwork etc. If it’s too valuable, I’ll likely keep it boxed as a collectible gift from my Son-inlaw, and just buy a Case Trapper as my EDC.
Can anyone help me with a current value on this beauty? I haven’t seen another one like it…..
