After losing several auctions for Copperlocks, I stumbled across the Trapperliner. Both are large pocket knives but are relatively thin. The Copperlock is a lockback while th the Trapperliner is a liner lock. I have had great success with Boker and I can find their products is nice traditional handle materials and colors - no Zebra, Leopard, pink or Bermuda green for me. In fact Case is pi$$ing me off by not offering the knives I want. I found a yellow handles wharncliff cv at one online store...add to cart "out of stock - discontinued". I mean I was even going to buy the leopard, ss, wharncliff until it broke $60.

Anybody have a Trapperliner or experience with both? There is a good deal of Copperlock info.

I have two copper locks,a mini and full size.I really like them, they seem to carry alot of blade in a small package. And they carry very well.

One of my friends has a boker (coper-liner?)In stag, not quite the same knife but similar and it is a very nice knife,my only complaint is that due to the placement of the thumbstud it's hard to open one handed, the traperliner may be different.
