Hey all, I have the chance to purchase a Boker Tree Brand Congress. 4 blades and 4"1/8th long closed with jigged bone scales. The blades are Solingen steel and the bolsters are NS. Are these decent knives? I have never owned or dealt with any Boker brand knives. Any help or advice is appreciated!!!!

I have a few Boker knives, and they seem to be decent quality. My Boker Old Stag congress sees a fair amount of pocket time. The carbon steel blades sharpen easily and hold an edge reasonably well.

This is the Congress Tree Brand 70113 TSR Red Picked Bone in carbon 3 5/8"

It had a good F&F.
The middle back spacer is slightly raised one side.
Very slight gapping between the side spacers and the bolsters.
The scales are pinned well.

Opens with half stops with an good walk and talk. Opens and close with a solid sound.
As most Bokers, that I have, the spring is gentle but not weak.

It comes with decent factory grinds on the blades.
The main sheepsfoot blade has the Boker Tang Stamp etching which is attractive.
I have not sharpened the congress yet, but my stockman in the same carbon steel sharpens well and holds a working edge.

For less than $40 I think the price is excellent for the quality! Or the quality is excellent for the price!

Hope this helps.
