Hey everyone!

I just got this one in last week from BladeHQ and wanted to show it off! I've been excited for this one since Mr. Blauvelt first announced it. I started watching his videos on youtube when he was just starting out as a customizer of knives. It was just about the same time I started my introduction into this world of knife collecting. I always enjoyed seeing the type of work he would do to make production knives unique and different. I have also been watching him perfect his skills as a knife maker, starting with his friction folders and evolving up to his current flipper models, which are some of the most beautiful customs on the market today, IMO.

Someday I would love to have the opportunity to own one of his custom pieces. I was never fortunate enough to snag one of his custom models, and this collaboration effort with Boker has made his one-of-a-kind folder more readily available to myself and others! I have handled a few Bokers over the past few years and some were hit or miss on the quality control. Fortunately, it looks like they have been tightening up the QC department with the many new collaboration pieces they are putting out.

This war toad collaboration has outstanding fit and finish. Thick pieces of titanium and G10 have it begging to be customized; but even left in its stock configuration still leaves you with a sturdy, hand filling friction folder that operates smoothly. The grinds on the blade are gorgeous and the titanium is nicely stonewashed.

Thank you Mr. Blauvelt for working with Boker to get this production piece to market and congratulations on all of your past, current and future success.

That really is one of the coolest looking knives ever made, and the name is perfect for something so unique - you can see the war toad in it - but not really! Or maybe? Your photos are great and really show it off.

I just see myself all bloody after admiring her!

And a fun fact I discovered today: If you remove the pocket clip, this blade fits perfectly into the watch pocket of jeans...at least on my jeans. Carried it today with the tang up and could not even feel it on my person. This then left my right front pocket free for other items.

Just got mine in today, a crazy looking but interesting folder, and the clip appears to be an after thought, as so many clips often are, in this case I'd suggest they leave it off completely and leave the scale clean, the photos below were photo shopped to show how it would look without the three holes in there when the clip is removed, a nicer looking and better gripping folder.

I did need to sharpen it up a bit, softened the shoulder of the edge bevel so it is now a little more convex than before, and boy did this sharpen up nice! chiseledge blades really slice!

That looks really good! I love your photos. A few filler screws would get close to what you have there. My TK custom came with the deep pocket clip and I was never a fan. I left mine on but I didn't use it at all.
