Firstly: wondering if the pivot screw under the G10/Cocobolo scales is adjustable. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it's a pin rather than a screw (a big deal breaker in a flipper)

Also just curious to hear any feedback from anyone who has one. I've read some threads but I'm still on the fence.

I think I'm nervous to order one because I tend to be specific about things like blade centering and blade play. I love my zero tolerance knives and I guess I'm nervous that this would be enough of a step down in quality that I'd end up not happy with the purchase.

On the other hand, ti liners and a VG10 blade for the price is hard to beat. I love VG10!

So I suppose my main concerns are:
How those great materials are executed/assembled

And

Whether or not the pivot screw is adjustable and if good flipping action can be achieved with zero blade play.

Thanks all!

Haven't taken mine apart yet, but I've been pleased with the build quality for the money. There are hot spots on the flipper and around the cocobolo billets (too sharp), so I brought it to my office and rounded some of the sharp edges with my drill (I'm a dentist). The blade is a great shape, flips like butter and takes a screaming edge.

Great knife for the money.

Much like Diomedes01, I haven't taken the Cocobolo scales off mine simply because there hasn't been a need to do so. Mine came perfectly centered and after a small drop of oil flies out smooth as silk. Make no mistake, this is a lighter-use knife I wouldn't use for heavy cardboard or anything like that. In fact the only "issue" I've run across is that if you put a real heavy snap on your wrist while flipping it open, the liner lock will sometimes go 3/4 of the way across the locking face of the blade and it can be a little tough to close. You don't ever need to snap your wrist at all with this knife though, so it truly isn't a problem. The fit and finish of mine is fantastic, and I would highly recommend picking one up for yourself.
