Boker USA history?

Is this the right place to ask about the old company of Boker USA, which went out of business a long time ago? Or is it the place for everyone who likes Boker's products? Does anyone know what happened to the old company that I mentioned?:confused:
 
That is a very long story.
By refering to the old Boker USA. you could be refering to the original Boker family, in New York, or after WW2, it could be several different incarnations.
At different times, it was run by the Wiss Tool Co. It was also run by the Cooper Tool Group for many years.
In 1984, Boker Germany took back over, and created the now existing Boker USA as the official branch of Boker in the US.
There is, unfortunately, not a lot of information on the older incarnations of the company.

Not quite, it was owned and operated by members of the Boker family from Germany.

I found some old boker catalogues dating back to 73-76 over there . The site appears to be run by Don Wiss.
