Hey gang, a few days ago, i picked up the lovely little new Boker VOX Gnome as my first little EDC fixed blade, and i must say, I loved it!, but the one thing that annoyed me was the sheath and the way you are expected to carry this little beauty.

im not a neck knife guy, not by a long stretch, so i thought, eh why not, and tore apart an old cellphone belt clip, took my new VOX and went to town

here are the results, Tell me what you think!

Cheers!

Clipped to the outside of a belt,(i would usually carry it with the sheath under the belt when on my pants)

Strapped to the Webbing on my Camera bag, im a photographer and I always like to have a knife on me, that spot is usually occupied by a Spyderco Cricket or Urban

Man , the last thing I need right now is another knife but... you guys are really tempting me to buy one of these Gnomes.. How is the edge as far as a slicer is concerned ? The pics make the edge look a little chubby.

Bit small for a slicer, but great none the less....its still holding the first edge I put on it, very happy.

i used it all day today at a fundraising fair at my school, slicing and dicing all day, a really fantastic lil cutter!

Can anyone recommend a replacement sheath? Mine has broken, and I'd love to find something more suitable for in-pocket carry. I'm open to making a sheath, but I'd rather buy one this time around. Thanks!

I just got a gnome and modded the sheath with a Tek-lok

Now I can carry it on my left hip for cross-draw,

The downside is that fixed blade knives must be open carried in California, and the thing is so small that just about anything will cover it up...
