Boker vs Boker USA

What is the difference? I am looking on a couple of sites and the USA versions are always about 20% cheaper for the same exact knife.

There is no difference. Boker USA is under the umbrella of Boker Germany, both companies sell the same products. Basically it's the same company. The different prices are mostly because of the different prices of knives in Europe and the US.

Now, there are three different lines of knives - Boker Tree brand line, the Boker Plus line and the Magnum line. The first are knives made in Germany and Argentina and it's the most expensive one. The Plus line is made in Asia mostly China and Taiwan and it is Boker's mid-class line the patterns are all designed by Boker or one of it's collaborators but the production is outsourced so as to keep the prices low. The Magnum line is their entry level line - the knives are mostly designed in China and simply branded.
