Boker vs. Ontario M3 knives...?

I've been looking at these, mostly as a gift for a friend who is a knife nut but still in the early stages. He really likes the stacked leather handles of the Ka-Bars, but he's into the dagger shape.
Does anyone have both the Ontario M3 and the Boker M3? Or maybe has anyone merely handled both, looked them over enough to compare?
