Yes, I am a lucky man.
The magnet is pretty stout. I can literally stick the blade to the OUTSIDE of the sheath and carry it around without the knife falling off. However, I must say that the knife fits so tight in the sheath that the magnet doesn't even seem to be necessary. Perhaps it will stretch a bit after I've had it for a while.
The sheath and loop is set up for right handed use. I am a leftie, so when I carry the sheath on my left side the sheath is outside my belt. I've played around with removing the loop, and using the velcro on the sheath to attach the TUF to my Maxpedition gear. It fits pretty conveniently on the shoulder strap of my Maxpedition Gearslinger backpack!
The only cutting I've done with it thus far is removing the packaging from my wife's new pocketbook. It is scary sharp as purchased though.
The only con I have is really just personal preference. I feel that the TUF needs some filework on the spine of the blade, right where my thumb rests. Don't know why, but I feel more in control with a little bit of a rough knurled or cut grooved surface there. I may get busy with a file one day soon, but right now I can't bring myself to modify this knife.
The only other concern is how well will the cocobola handle hold up at the "pommel" end, if I had the need to thump someone on the head with it. The wood comes to sort of a little point in that area, so I wonder. Hopefully I'll never find out.
Planning on doing a little hiking soon, so I can tell a bit more.
